3.4.Refusal or withdrawal of consent regarding cookies relating to functional, analytical, statistical, marketing, advertising and external-content technologies may limit certain functionalities, prevent the presentation of external content, reduce the personalisation of the experience, affect statistical measurements or prevent the use of functionalities dependent on these technologies.
3.5.The User can change or withdraw consent at any time through the preference management mechanism available on the Website, namely through the Netwiz Consent Manager preference center, permanent link in the footer, shortcode, configuration button or other equivalent means.
3.6.Withdrawal of consent does not compromise the legality of the use of cookies or similar technologies based on the consent previously given until the moment of its withdrawal.

4.Cookies and similar technologies used
4.1.Netwiz Systems may use its own or third-party cookies and similar technologies, depending on the functionalities active on the Website, integrations used, tools configured, external content incorporated and preferences defined by the User.
4.2.Netwiz Systems provides updated information about each cookie and similar technology actually used, including name, category, origin/technology, purpose, duration, domain and activation status.
4.3.The specific list of cookies and similar technologies used on the Website is presented in this Policy and can also be consulted in the preference center or in the consent management mechanism available on the Website.

5.3.When the use of these services involves cookies, pixels, tags, identifiers, scripts, local storage, access to information on the User's equipment or transmission of data to third parties, their activation will depend on the User's prior consent whenever legally required, except when it involves a strictly necessary cookie, technology or operation or other applicable legal exception.
5.4.Scripts, pixels, tags, external content, videos, maps, embeds or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary and that are subject to consent must remain blocked, conditioned or not loaded until the User provides the consent corresponding to the applicable category, without prejudice to duly identified technical limitations and the need for adequate configuration of the Website, plugins, scripts or tools used.

5.6.The use of third-party services may imply that these third parties process personal data as independent controllers, processors or joint controllers, depending on the service, configuration, purpose and respective applicable terms.
5.7.Netwiz Systems does not fully control the practices, policies, technologies, cookies, retention periods, international transfers, technical decisions or changes implemented by third parties acting as independent controllers for their own processing.

5.9.Netwiz Systems may replace, remove, suspend, limit or change third-party integrations whenever necessary for technical, legal, commercial, security, compliance, performance, availability or changes in the conditions of those third parties.
6.Consent and proof records
6.1.Whenever the User accepts, rejects, personalizes, changes or withdraws consent regarding cookies or similar technologies, Netwiz Systems may keep technical records of the decision made, to the extent necessary for the purposes of proof, audit, security, compliance, abuse prevention, preference management and defence of rights.

When Netwiz Consent Manager is used, the retention period may be configurable by the administrator, with a recommended predefined reference period of 36 months, without prejudice to different configurations suited to the Website, risk, purpose or applicable legislation.
6.6.When records are kept locally on the Customer's Website or infrastructure, namely through a plugin, module or solution installed on the site itself, responsibility for the configuration, retention, export, security and deletion of these records may lie with the owner of the Website or Customer, under the terms of the Privacy Policy, Specific Conditions, Product/Software Documentation or applicable contract.

8.3.When cookies or similar technologies are used for strictly necessary purposes, security, authentication, fraud prevention, technical functioning, session maintenance, checkout or provision of a service requested by the User, the processing may be based, as applicable, on the execution of a contract, pre-contractual measures, compliance with a legal obligation or legitimate interests.
8.4.When cookies or similar technologies are used for analytical, statistical, non-essential functional purposes, marketing, advertising, remarketing, campaign measurement, external content or equivalent technologies, the processing may depend on the User's prior consent, when legally required.

8.7.When Netwiz Systems acts as a supplier of technology, plugin, module or consent solution installed on a website, domain, server or environment controlled by a Customer, it will be up to the respective Customer to ensure that its own Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy correctly reflect the processing carried out on that website or platform.
8.8.The rights of data subjects, including access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to the competent supervisory authority, are regulated in the Privacy Policy of Netwiz Systems, when Netwiz Systems acts as controller.
9.Duration, change and update of cookies
9.1.Cookies and similar technologies may have variable duration, depending on their purpose, category, origin/technology, technical configuration and associated functionality.
9.2.Some cookies may be session cookies, being deleted when the User closes the browser, while others may remain on the User's equipment for a determined period, unless they are manually deleted, technically blocked or the applicable preferences are changed.

10.4.The provision or use of Netwiz Consent Manager or another technological solution from Netwiz Systems does not, in itself, constitute an automatic guarantee of legal compliance of the Customer's website, platform or activity, as compliance depends on the correct technical configuration, the identification of cookies and scripts used, the adequacy of legal documents, the information provided to users, the legality of the installed tools and the decisions of the website owner.
10.5.When Netwiz Systems provides configuration, implementation, auditing, consultancy or technical support services related to cookies, similar technologies or consents, the liability of Netwiz Systems will be limited to the expressly contracted scope, without prejudice to the applicable Specific Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Website and applicable mandatory legislation.
